WHAT IS IV HYDRATION?
IV Hydration is done using a small catheter that’s placed directly into your vein. This allows us to hydrate you more effectively and efficiently than if you were to drink water. Yes, there is a small poke with a small needle, but once the vein is accessed, the needle comes out and the plastic catheter is left in it’s place.
Intravenous therapy is a medical technique that delivers fluids, medications and nutrition directly into a person's vein. Our services are meant to act as supplements and not to replace oral hydration/diet.
All of our vitamins are FDA approved and go through high levels of testing. They are administered by a registered nurse/licensed medical practitioner and performed under a medical director. Before a client receives IV therapy, their health history is evaluated.
Side effects from an IV drip are generally non-existent or very mild. On occasion, you may experience some discomfort, bruising, itching, inflammation, or redness at or around the site of injection, and this could last from a few minutes to several days. However, true allergic reactions are extremely rare.
The whole process will take 30-45 minutes to complete. There are a few forms to complete prior to your infusion as well as a quick medical assessment.
Side effects are generally non-existent or very mild. On occasion, you may experience some discomfort, bruising, redness, itching, inflammation, or redness at or around the site of injection that could last from a few minutes to several days. True allergic reactions are extremely rare. However, if you experience throat swelling, pruritic body rash, dangerously low blood pressure, or symptoms associated with anaphylaxis following administration of an injection, visit your nearest emergency department. If you know you are allergic to any of the ingredients/notify the medical practitioner — please avoid it!
Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, but we strive to stick everyone just once with our experienced Registered Nurses/Medical practitioners.
The frequency of IV therapy is determined on a patient by patient basis. We take a customized approach to suit your individual needs. For preventative health and wellness, we recommend two IV drips per month to help balance out any vitamin deficiencies.
WHAT SHOTS/DRIPS DO YOU OFFER?
We offer a variety of shots/drips from hangover relief to those that can promote healthy skin and hair. We offer Lipo B and Lipo C shots. Lipotropic nutrients are a class of agents that plays an important role in the body’s use of fat. They enhance the liver and gallbladder’s role by decreasing fat deposits and by speeding up the metabolism and removal of fats. The liver is the key organ in the control of body fat. Vitamin B12 is used in the metabolism of fats, proteins and carbohydrates. It is often used to give an energy boost, helping to increase activity levels.
Body sculpting targets and kills fat cells in the body without surgery. It allows you to shape and lose stubborn fat in areas such as the upper arms, abdomen, hips, and thighs.
Not only does body sculpting help destroy fat, but it also reduces cellulite, promotes healthy blood circulation, and strengthens connective tissue.
This procedure is ideal for those who are close to their ideal weight, but have parts of their body they’d like to shape, tighten, tone, or define a little more.
Body sculpting procedures use different types of energy to kill fat cells and visibly tighten skin. Once the treatment is complete, the body processes and filters out the destroyed fat cells over the course of the next 3-4 months, which is when most people see the full effect of the procedure.
Now that you know how body sculpting works, let’s review the different types of body sculpting available.
There are several different types of body sculpting treatments. The two types we’ll focus on here first are treatments using ultrasound and radio frequency to target and shape areas.
This procedure uses ultrasound waves to break down fat. Ultrasound frequencies are very gentle on the skin and allow you to precisely target specific areas on your body.
Radiofrequency body sculpting procedures use energy to create heat to get rid of fat cells. This type of procedure specifically goes after the water in fat cells, so it’s important to make sure you’re hydrated beforehand and drink plenty of water afterward.
Body sculpting is non-invasive and involves little to no pain. Side effects to body sculpting procedures are very minimal, usually consisting of minor pain, swelling, or a warm feeling on the treated area.
Still, it’s always a good idea to consider your health history before getting treatment. Our friendly, highly trained practitioners will discuss which procedure will be the best for you.
So you know that body sculpting kills fat and helps shape and firm targeted areas of your body. Both liposuction and body sculpting targets and reduces fat, Liposuction uses a suction technique to remove fat from targeted areas. It is a surgical procedure that requires anesthesia and a longer recovery time (usually 1-2 months) than body sculpting. Associated risks include complications from anesthesia, bleeding, and uneven fat reduction.
Body sculpting has minimal side effects and because it is non-invasive, it allows you to get back to your normal routine immediately following treatment.
Depending on the type of treatment, your body sculpting appointments may take anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour or more. You can usually plan on coming in for 4-8 appointments before the treatment is complete, and will usually see full results over the next 3-4 months.
Appointments will usually be scheduled 7-14 days apart to ensure optimal results.
Most of us have had procedures done where we’re not supposed to eat for hours beforehand. Thankfully, you don’t have to worry about that with body contouring! Don't eat 2 hours before your session. Limit alcohol and caffeine prior to and post session. Consume lots of water days prior and post session.
There are a few simple things our team recommends you do before coming in for your body contouring appointment:
Because body sculpting procedures are non-invasive, you can return to normal activities immediately following treatment. You may experience some redness, swelling, or tenderness around the treatment area for a few days following the procedure. However, pain is usually very minimal.
